Snieznik Mountains

Long walks without the crowds

I have the feeling that the Snieznik Mountains is a very underrated place. Although it is the highest mountain range in the East Sudetes, it’s rarely mentioned but definitely it has its unique charm. Trails of different difficulty level, nice mountian shelters and frequent fogs during the whole year, encourage hikers to visit this place. The only weakness is the relatively small number of viewpoints on the Polish side. The Czechs manage to build more and more observation towers, and I hope that the same will happen in Poland.
