I love the Karkonosze (Giant Mountains). It is one of my favourite places in Poland. If I would live in Cracow probably I would say the same about the Tatra Mountains. But I don’t live in Cracow, so a western part of the Sudety is my favourite direction for a extended weekend getaway.

This place is wonderfully diverse for such a small area. Glacier rocks, steep cliffs, mountain streams, beautiful woods and above all the lack of crowds on the trails – all of this every outdoor enthusiast will find in the Karkonosze Mountains…
